Outreach materials for ACM’s Urban Garden program
As part of the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum's Urban Waterways initiative, the urban gardening program supports community-driven learning, growth and empowerment through monthly workshops and discussions. The program explores gardens as:
• Places of community and connections to our cultural past
• Spaces of stewardship
• Outdoor STEAM classrooms
• Sites of empowerment embracing community health
• Part of more extensive social networks
